EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Ganesh Ram, a physician assistant, has joined Luther Midelfort’s Cardiac Center as part of the cardiac surgery team.
Ram received his bachelor’s degree as a physician assistant from Long Island University/Brooklyn Hospital. He earned his associate degree in biology at Queensborough Community College in Bayside, N.Y.
Before joining Luther Midelfort, Ram was a cardiothoracic surgery physician assistant at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo., and at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, where he also was a part-time physician assistant in urgent care.
“I am happy to be settling in this part of Wisconsin and glad to be working with a group that provides a high level of cardiac care to patients,” Ram said.
Ram is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is certified in advanced cardiac life support and as an emergency medical technician. He has special interests in minimally invasive techniques in cardiothoracic surgery.
